Come on dude, don't you know in the west top executives die every day by mysterious circumstances right after they speak against a "military operation" and against the opinion of the president\dictator. Totally normal, nothing to see here.

West = bad, Russia\China = good. Anybody that says otherwise simply isn't "open-minded" enough and needs to be sent to re-education camp.

European Commission backs harsher visa rules for Russians

The EU’s simplified visa deal with Moscow could be officially suspended as early as next week.

Processing times for visas may also significantly increase if the deal is scrapped, and long-term or multiple-entry visas for Russians could either be completely removed or severely limited, meaning that Russian citizens will only be able to receive single-entry Schengen visas that are limited to specific dates.

=> Bad news for the million of russian tourist who loved the EU the last 6 month so much…

New Apple iPhone will be available in Russia, trade minister says

Russian mobile network MTS on Thursday morning was already selling the new iPhone 14 models on pre-order. Prices start from 84,990 roubles ($1,398) for the 128GB version.

MTS said delivery could take up to 120 days and it retained the right to cancel orders if it faced difficulties importing the products.

Apple did not immediately respond to a request to comment.

=> Evil US <=

Georgian taxi driver acquitted of kidnapping Russian-speaking passengers

His lawyer, Irakli Chomakhashvili, maintains that after Bokuchava picked up the two passengers from Tbilisi International Airport, he was asked to speak in Russian and to switch off Ukrainian music playing on the radio.

The lawyer claims that the driver refused, and subsequently dropped the passengers off at Gombori Pass, around 60 kilometres northeast of the airport.

‘Today, in the name of the people, we defeated Russian imperialism', the lawyer wrote on Facebook.

@RealDude At least pick a more trustworthy news-outlet when spreading propaganda. OC-Media is confusing, inconsistent, always mixing things up to get their disturbing worldview out to the people.
This is the true story -> Police arrest taxi driver for kidnapping Latvian professor in Tbilisi and -> Prosecutor’s Office rejects lawyer claims in incident involving taxi driver’s alleged mistreatment of passengers . So, this has nothing to do with imperialism.

This entire case is still ongoing. Read the statement of the prosecutor general.
@RealDude At least select your sources more carefully!

@backpacker What about the following source?

Russian troops withdraw from several settlements in Ukraine

The retreat from Izyum and Kupyansk took place amid a Ukrainian offensive, Russian military correspondents say.

The Russian military and allied forces of the People’s Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk were ordered to leave the city of Izyum on Saturday, several reporters deployed in the conflict zone have said.

Izum, which is located on the Seversky-Donets River, some 120 kilometers south-east of regional capital Kharkov, was captured by Russia in April after heavy fighting.

Rossiya 1 channel correspondent Ivan Poddubny described the withdrawal as a necessary measure to prevent the Russian forces from being encircled.

Reports have emerged of Ukrainian troops entering Kupyansk, which has served as a logistical hub for the Russian forces, and fighting breaking out on the outskirts of Krasny Liman.

The retreat was later confirmed by the Donetsk Republic’s deputy information minister Daniil Bezsonov, who said: “Yes, we left Izyum and some other settlements in the Kharkov direction.”

Love it.

Where are all the Russia-lovers here to claim that the source is not credible? Oops, it's actually RT...

Not clear if it's true but it does sound logical.

To the Republicans complaining about the billions the US is sending to Ukraine.
I’m going to share with a private opinion from a knowledgeable European official I know.
Basically, he starts off smiling and saying the US are “absolutely ruthless” with regard to the Ukraine war
win, lose or draw, the Americans win.
Main points:
-“Money” being sent to Ukraine is mostly in form of arms/weapons
-They’re sent via “lend-lease” meaning Ukraine will have to pay it back
-It wasn’t until after Ukraine showed that it would not be occupied by Russia, that the US committed big budgets and armaments
-After the war, the EU will be on the hook for rebuilding Ukraine, integrating them into the union and thus helping pay back the US lend-lease arms
-The US is passing off older, strategically obsolete weapons which would eventually be replaced (HIMARS)
-The US didn’t part with any of their most effective and technologically advanced systems (helicopers, planes)
-NATO is strengthened under US leadership
-America will achieve all its strategic objectives on the cheap
-Europe will need to invest in their military which will mean big business for the US
-Russian armaments have been exposed as inferior so Russia will lose global marketshare to the US military industry
-Europe is essentially decoupled from the Russian energy tit, creating a huge opportunity for US LNG
-Europe falls completely out of Russian influence
-The Russian military is grounded down by Ukraine with no American soldiers dying
-Russia finished as a threat to US influence
-The US can now focus all military attention towards containing China
-This is also a wakeup call for EU to take China seriously as a military adversary
-EU-China relations have been set back decades in terms of cooperation
-The days of the US having to twist the EU’s arm to not let Huawei build their 5G system are over
-China’s slow moving influence campaign into Europe is essentially done
-China now needs to think much harder about invading Taiwan…both militarily and strategically (sanctions)
The conclusion was that whatever the actual costs to the US, it’s peanuts compared to the accomplishment of these strategic objectives which will be reaping dividends for years to come
Ultimately the EU will shoulder most of the suffering while the US reaps the benefits

Absolutely!
And the Dollar dominance is here to stay. Nothing will replace USD. BRICS have become even more irrelevant. EU/EEA now completely under US-control.
Russian military operation turns out to be one of the biggest economic success stories of the USA.

Looks very much the same buildup as of the second world war.Americans taking advantage of wars is the same story repeating itself again.
