Transferwise: same person, two passports, two accounts ... Possible ?

Hi,
My cousin who has both french and lebanese passports have made the mistake to create a transferwise account with his french passport just to try it.
Since banks in Lebanon are very dangerous these days, he would like to open a transferwise account with his lebanese passport to receive dividends as lebanese person.

He will be using the same name. Do you think that transferwise will discover he is the same person? Is this allowed? Will transferwise report CRS to France for the lebanese account?

why not asking transferwise support?

If it is the same address and other information then yes they will discover it. But I would ask Transferwise to merge the accounts or to ask what to do.

Because if he asks support and they merge both accounts, CRS report will go to France

Yes I understand it, but try to fool them will not bring any good. I believe sooner or later they will close both accounts if they are not in compliance.

correct, they will find out at some moment. You are even able to create 2 accounts with same passport. Just speak to them and they will indicate what to do.
