In the UK you can add £20k per year tax-free for investing in stocks, shares, ETFs, etc. Does anyone have experience with how the appreciation or dividends are taxed on these in Cyprus?

You don't pay taxes from dividend in Cyprus!

No taxes on dividends, there is what we call an SDC charge - however as a non-dom you will be exempted, even if you relocate in Cyprus you will maintain the non-dom status benefits for 17 years and therefore exempted from SDC in dividend. You will only have to pay 2.65% on dividend payments towards the general health system
