Hi All -
Been googling this all night but so much information and I don't know what is true or what is a sales pitch, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am married and live in California, don't know how much longer it will last. I am starting a company with two other partners, and while it will definitely be a startup with 0 revenue for the first year, I see a lot of potential.

I want to protect my ownership stake as much as possible, so I am thinking to create a foreign llc to hold my ownership and the foreign trust owned by me will own the LLC.

Would this be the best way to operate, or am I going overboard and just a foreign LLC with foreign bank accounts holding any earnings would be enough?

Lastly, which country would be the best place to do this? The easiest for me to deal with, the cheapest for me to setup, and that I can fully trust?

Thank you again, any guidance would be so greatly appreciated.

Create it in Nevis my friend foreign country judgments dont apply to Nevis companies. Also you can think of taking out maximum cash and keeping it in a non crs country like Georgia. However cover your tracks by depositing in cash and never bringing back any wire transfer from there to yourself back home in the us nor send any wires from us to georgian account. But due to fatca you will have to report back the bank account in the us however if you can also get a second passport which is non canadaian and non european and renounce us citizenship i mean then this cash policy will work.

How about you divorce the heffer first and then start your business?

Or maybe go see a counselor and save the marriage and live happily ever after with the woman you love?
Dont think there is much love left in the relationship based on the statement given. And anyways a younger woman would be a nice choice ;) ,however with that said if you really love someone you should never part anyone till death unless they cheat on you or put false cases on you.If you had chosen someone you love then it is better to strengthen the relationship by working on it rather than waiting till its too late.Money and business will come and go but a good relationship once lost will never come back.

Deep I must say.

But my feelings on marriage has not changed from my below post I made back in February when I said a whore is better option for companionship smi(&%.

Yes it is cheaper to have an expensive whore than to go through marriage and divorce. You get the benefit of certainty, the woman knows what is expected, you know your capital outlay from day one and with a good payment plan can be very cost effective. The woman can also be swapped out for a younger version so you don't suffer depreciation and health care costs - dentists and medical care is not cheap. There is also no balloon payment at end....sorry I meant divorce settlement. Also there is no nagging, no undue demands, pressure and you keep your freedoms, privacy and all your assets without having to share or declare them to her. It is a win win for both parties.

In short a whore is a cost effective vehicle and an eloquent allocation of capital than a marriage over the medium to long term. With minimal initial down payment (wedding & dating) and ballon payment at end (divorce) you also get benefit of not being tied into a long contract like a cellphone plan. Think of it as a pay as you go cellphone plan. The little higher you pay each top up for the service allows you an easy opt out with no minimum commitment period.

For OP it is worth reading the full discussion below on hiding assets.

@fortunespeculator

Exact opposite. Your $ and status stays, but women come and go. Fail to manage your $, and they only go.

Marriage is nothing to celebrate as a man. Useful life-cycle of a woman is 8-12 years. Her expectations and standards, however, stay even after she's an orange peel. Would you pledge half of your net worth to a stock that loses 5% of its value every year?

Life-long marriage should be considered if both conditions are met:
1. You're hopelessly religious.
2. Woman banged you before you had the $.

In all other cases, the woman out-plays you. Women cheat in life by skipping the struggle of building a future and relationship from ground up.

But in all cases:
1. Once it's over, leave the home to her and kids.
2. Pay the child support, much more than the law requires.

Don't agree completely with you my take is if somebody is not cheating on you and is there for you .You should keep your commitment too.If your wife cheats on you and puts false cases or charges on you she is your sworn enemy so treat her like one in that case. Aging happens to both men and women so lets not talk about depreciation- one should also not look at women as a commodity unless she is an escort or a hooker. The problem is not women per se - the problem is about stupid laws in favour of them in most cases.Working on getting these laws changed to gender neutral type will resolve the problem however until then we may need to follow your advice which is however an immoral path to follow .If you want to treat women that way do you also treat your parents that way because they are also aging and depreciating?Lets not compare apples to oranges ;human life and a stock cannot be compared.

Totally agree about all this, if we're talking only about sex it makes zero sense to marry ... but what about having kids and raising a family?

Thats something you do once you made your money and are in a position to settle down. You shelter your assets by setting up a trust and move all your wealth into the trust first with a class of beneficiaries being your future kids an have an advisor appointed to the trust to manage the assets inside it. Then you marry under a system that allows your wife no access to wealth accumulated before the marriage. Then sit back and enjoy family life and raising your kids.

Any systems like this that don't give wife access to wealth accumulate before the marriage? preferably also with 0% tax? :D (except Monaco which was discussed here before)

1) Tell her as little as possible about your ventures, assets, investments, etc. If you did then you already lost the game if she decides to hire a decent enough lawyer. If not, move to part 2.
2) Incorporate a company abroad, where the UBO registry is closed, transfer your startup ownership to that company. (I would pay for a good lawyer to set this up). If you are shameless then simulate a transaction where you sell your ownership of that startup to that offshore company so if her lawyers start digging they have a decoy to waste time on, and perhaps it could discourage them from digging further.
3) Do everything in your power to make the pursuit of your assets more costly to her than settling for a deal where you dictate the terms.
4) Don't marry a gold digger next time.

To reduce the trail even further, don't use your bank accounts to pay for lawyers/offshore services, since her lawyers will request statements from you in the event of a divorce. Try to set up a personal offshore account and pay for everything through that account, or use crypto. Attracts less attention.

Really? I don't think so. Do you know how annoying younger people are? Especially, more often than not women. Sure they may look better in most cases, be more energetic in bed, but as martinemerson said, just go pay if you want to have sex with a young woman. But for someone to live with, I couldn't think of anything worse.

Switzerland for example

1) Tell her as little as possible...

This is some solid advice but certainly assumes that you manage to play the taxman first. If you were honest at any point in your asset declarations, a prosecutor may be quite ruthless and unhappy with a current declaration in which is your net worth is similar to that of a truck driver. How did you lose your money (and please provide proof) he may ask.

I believe the best thing we can do as men is to offer women who raise our children security without marriage.

- Certainly easier said than done in some cultures where pregnant unmarried women are perceived badly. If you pull it off with a southern-European woman before putting a ring on her, your partner's family will bully you into proposing her! Yet having children outside marriage is completely normal elsewhere (Denmark, Sweden, Estonia). A reason to travel for our younger male audience, perhaps? fin4774"

Jeff Bezos's case should be a life lesson to all men. The bitch could have asked for a villa and 20m, and been grateful to be able to spend her retirement like a queen in luxury. Yet she reached out to lawyers to milk as much as possible. Most women will act the same given an opportunity. A disgraceful bitch.

Very true ! I mean at this level and if you have significant assets, it's definitely your responsibility to take appropriate actions early on to make sure they are protected in case a rainy day happens, and surely they do happen to the best of us. Even if you married an angel, it only takes a few arguments, some new guy in the background she's into and decides to cheat on you with, a viper for a friend who will turn her against you and you'll be dealing with a literal snake who won't try to settle for her "fair share" but instead will do everything in her power to take as much as she can knowing that it's legally possible. People do change, even the ones with good nature, as soon as large amounts of money are in play. Never wait until s**t hits the fan to figure out what to do, always have an exit plan.

If all else fails, the only way to get ahead is to be dirtier than her, blackmail/other schemes to deter her from being too greedy. Either way i would never cave in and give someone half (or more depending on what cucked country you live in) of my life's work just because she decided she didn't love me anymore.

so true.... the way to do is to start planing even before getting married or having problems like that....
and if you know for example that your wife is cheating you, don't get mad and start planning the way you are going to put all your assets out of her reach lol....
You can get mad of her later with all your assets in a safe place
Absolutely. Kick her a*s the best way possible remove all assets from her hands
