The concept of VAT(Value Added Tax) originates from Europe and Cyprus being a member of European Union, also has VAT system to Collect Tax. What is the implication of VAT on offshore companies in Cyprus?

The Cyprus Offshore companies are exempt from VAT on their trading activities. They also do not pay VAT on telecommunication services and on goods eligible to be purchased duty free. So this a great facility being enjoyed by Cyprus offshore companies.
