What is "DIN" who should obtain it?


The above question is related to Indian Companies appointing foreign company directors.It may be due to joint venture or collaboration of two companies. Waiting for the responses from active members here.

India is not only an age-old democratic country but also one the major global economies of the world. In India DIN is Director Identification Number. Directors for an Indian company, both Indian and foreigners, must register and get and identification number under the new requirements. So it is mandatory for Directors to obtain DIN.
