What is the difference between Company in Ireland and Cyprus?

The Title describes my query, but beside the obvious difference of 12% corporate tax in Ireland and 10% in Cyprus, what other advantages does Cyprus have?

That's two diffrent companies with each have their own benefit. Actually I find it wifficult to answer your question since no business case looks the same, but to mention one of the major "benefits" then Cyprus offer a 0% tax for non resident companies.

I prefer to pay tax, as 10 or 12% is fair. Also, being legal means I catch more sleep !!


There was a danger that Ireland would agree to raise corporation tax in return for lower interest rate on bailout fund.


But now it looks like Ireland is set, in not relinquishing its 12% tax base. Although Cyprus has better weather!
