I read in some threads that you can simply transfer your BTC, ETH etc to Monero and all trails are gone after that. You can then exchange your monero to BTC and no one can see where it came from other than from your monero wallet?

I already have it and there's no point selling it atm. They have some issues and they are trying to resolve them hence the current price. Once they add shielded transaction support to Ledger it will bring back popularity to it IMO
