Choice Bank of Belize faces liquidity problems

Hey the Central Bank is working on that they told me... And they have max 90 days to hold our money, by law.

Someone said the Bank is broken, but not at all! They only closed the adult area because SESTA/FOSTA, that's all, the Bank still works perfectly, they have the money.

They said on june 30th they will wire transfer, but I called Firstchoice and the money they will send is the money on the card, not the "virtual" money frozen. So our funds frozen we don't have any news. The only thing I hope it will helps us is that by law they can 'only' freeze our money for 90 days, but who knows....

caludia said that virtual money is frozen and that it will not be sent by wire transfer that is contrary to the mail I received, we can withdraw the money up to 30 of June from the card and from the virtual account my money will be sent by wire transfer..

just to add, I am not so happy with that option(wire transfer if is happen hopefully), I have over 30K on account and not sure how to explain in the bank office in my country what's the origin of money..

As far as I know, 3 different emails have been sent. They have divided the customers into different groups on the basis of the amount of money that is stuck. If Quadrant wants to talk to you, I think that means you are in the highest group.

Firstchoice told me before the email that the virtual frozen money isn't the money they (for FCP) they will send, it was the money on the card. After few days, we received an email about Choice Bank. We don't know when, they say in July (in the email I received).

I hope they send the money on june 30th, on july 10th it will be 90 days, I think they'll send it before that.

I told you what Firstchoice told me when I asked about the last email FCP sent.

What happens if we don't have bank account?

I hope they can send our funds to other bank account too, for example my mom's.

This is the email I received:

Seems people got burned in all of this. I have aprox 600 euro there which I never will see so it's okay for me. It seems there are people here that had a lot more money which they can kiss good bye to :(
generally speaking no emi worth storing more than 10,000 at time , all people who got burned are business accounts owners who had more than this to for payrolls reasons etc ,but they don't have any other option . or porn models who deem firstchoice as real bank which is their fault in first place .
