24 and 100K on the side

Fine if you think so. In my friends case. It was 2017/2018 it went from 20k$ to 4k$. Sure it is back right now. He had to sell a lot, because he payed all his bills from BTC and also his company needed capital and he had to sell BTC to fund it as well. So burned a lot. Not to speak of Shitcoins...

24 and 100K on the side

Ok guys, I will make one remark for the crypto bro's. For large sums, let's say f**k you money, so that you don't have to work anymore. It is stupid to keep everything in crypto. Just see what the ultra rich do, they diversify. If something goes wrong you can start from scratch. A friend of...

24 and 100K on the side

I think stable coins is a bad advice. First they are not always "stable". Second you can get about 5% interest from banks on 100k. That is 5k a year or nearly 500$ a month, not that bad (for girls ; ))

24 and 100K on the side

Hi there, to be honest if 100k is your total networth. The best thing in my opinion is to reduce you exposure to Crypto. 100% is too much in that case. Few years ago I would have said go 100% to MSCI World ETF or something like this. Currently not sure, maybe it is not a bad move as well at your...

Do you know some persons that got in tax trouble ?

Basically had to declare taxes for previous years. But even if you leave, there are some situations where the you still own money to the taxman. Like if I had property in Germany or some income. The income here was from trading (crypto) on a private account. So that make make it even more...

Do you know some persons that got in tax trouble ?

Exactly. He kind of argued that it is needed because of "Progressionsvorbehaltes", so that the tax authoreties adjust the tax rate based on the total income in that year. But I guess the accountant wanted first to be 100% safe and also would profit from any possible complication. Since the...

Do you know some persons that got in tax trouble ?

Can report from Germany. Basically did everything according to the books. Did not hide anything but still got kind of fucked. It is still ongoing. But basically what happend: - moved to Swiss - Accountant made a kind of "aggresive decleration" (although the years before, it got through). -...

What are the good option strategy for Low risk monthly income?

Easy. If you have a option strategy that yields 5% risk free (low risk.). You could borrow money at 4% (short the bond) and invest everything in your strategy. So it doesn't make sense to think of some magic option strategy at all. Especially since options are derivatives, producing them...

Interactive Brokers - Compliance questions regarding deposits

Hi there, I'm not sure what they will do. BUT the question is quite simple, is it clean or not? If it is clean - just give the everything. I think they like most the tax returns. In my case they asked questions nearly a year, but where happy when I gave them my tax declaration. I'm pretty sure...

What are the good option strategy for Low risk monthly income?

None. I would like to explain. 1. What you want is it seems a SECURE monthly income. That sounds like short term bonds in the financial market. 2. Every option strategy that would beat 1. would cause an arbitrage opertunity. And for that kind of stuff, markets are ver efficient. So there is...

Silicon Valley Bank scrambles to reassure clients after 60% stock wipe-out

So guys, what do you think what are safe banks right now : ) ? I mean for sure there are too big to fail. But what about smaller banks or lets say just rigions like europe, swiss, asia, or from middle east? Would you consider brokers like ibkr or swissquate safer ? (since guess they do not...

    EUR/USD exchange rate

So what is you conclusion to do for it? I mean in this case both EUR and USD could go down... but who knows how long it can take. Most people don't hold that much cash anyway. So mostly you have real estate or some stocks / etf's for most poeple. PS: To be honest I hold a lot of cash right...

    EUR/USD exchange rate

Doesn't look that bad to be honest. Was thinking the same. But shops are full. Rent rates are (at least in Germany) very are. Restaurants are filled with people. So far it somehow works. Of course if Italy defaults or something like this it might be over. That is basically everywhere the case...
