It likely means Kraken is about to — in those countries for now — start issuing IBANs and/or cards. Those are the most common e-money services on the market.

Unfortunately, I'm right. This might eventually get their EMI/VASP license revoked.

You don't understand how tough laws are with crypto. MiCA regulations, FATF regulations, etc..

This will also increase the competition with other VASPs who will start making reports to the FCA and license issuers.
