As a general point, what he is doing is illegal. The type of services he is offering are regulated and cannot be offered by whoever decides to set up a consulting firm. It's exactly the opposite because if indeed untrue this tax claim is against his business interest.
In this case it can be his stupidity but out of thin air fabricating anti-marketing claims that go against him makes zero sense.
