I know a little bit about them.

I hope you have seen the high fees for the card itself every year and also receiving sepa deposits is expensive.
To use the iban for receiving from a 3rd party the person and address need to be verified.
You will also be asked for documents for verifying the shipping address if its not the same as the registred one also.
Deposits from a new bank account will arrive with a delay of two weeks and the support only answers in french language.
Its ok but there are much better cards out there!

did he ever got back to you with some suggested company that can handle the payment processing for you?

Try and learn. It's a regular EMI that we don't need.
