Need a reliable EUR receiving account (dedicated acct/IBAN in the company name) for a foreign-owned US LLC. SEPA is preferred but I can work fine with SWIFT too, like I know some providers are doing DBS multi-currency virtual account.
The use case is to receive payments from EU companies, ideally convert to USD, then first-party transfer to the existing US company bank account.
EUR volume is moderate—roughly €250K–€450K per year. Doesn’t need bells and whistles, just needs to work.
Company has a strong and documentable operating history, unique physical address, accounts with major US fintechs and a decently-large traditional US bank. Problem: none of them support EUR services at all—not even via SWIFT. To me, it seems kinda embarrassing, but I guess Americans are on their high horse a bit and ignore other currencies. Even if it were to auto-convert to USD with the bank’s rate, still fine for me.
Tried Payoneer—account’s been pending for 3 weeks. Not confidence-inspiring. The service generally seems a bit shady, like the many negative reviews and weird sign-up process.
Not interested in Wise or Airwallex—not-so-positive experiences, done with them.
Prefer to avoid EU-based services (like Lithuanian EMIs, which kinda PMO), but will consider if nothing else fits. I think Chinese EMIs and all that are cooler.
Already aware of the “US LLC banking” threads but EUR solutions are not really touched much.
Looked at:
- OFX, was very good before but the collection account is shut down now
- Pingpong, does not let me sign up and the contact form is not responsive
- Amnis, requires UBOs to be US for any US entities
- Many others, like Currenxie, Worldfirst, do not accept US entities at all
Looking for anyone who’s actually solved this and can name names
