Hello everyone,

I am wondering if it is possible to register a company in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) without the help of an agent. Is there a way to register directly with the BVI government? If so, does anyone have any experience with this process?

Thank

If you live there you should be able to, I think. If not, it would be unlikely as they would need you to have a registered agent on the island which they can contact in case something goes wrong.

I would guess that a registeted agent should be a mandatory component to setting up a comoany there. After all it is a regulated activity, these agents are licensed by the local authorities to perform these functions. Would be interesting to hear if you reach any different conclusion.

Look around and try to find the cheapest option, maybe registered agent only and you deal with the rest yourself?
This type of services are often so overpriced...government fee is 100 usd and they charge you 1500 usd total for company formation, better be careful
