Hi,
We are currently trying to set up a structure where we can do forex trading via a US SMLLC owned by a non-US citizen.
What we are currently wondering:
- How can the investors (privat persons, not companies) get the money into the company?
- how can we pay out the profits?
- Is there anything else to consider in this setup?
Right now, we are wondering if there will be any issue with using the LLC's bank account (WISE, Mercury) to pay in and pay out money to/from the corporate broker account.
What we want to do in brief:
- Have investors put their money into our bank account (with an investment contract)
- wire the money to the broker account
- do the trading
- payout the profits back to the corporate bank account of the SMLLC
- pay the profits to the investors.
Once we reached a certain level of profits, we will set up a fund (BVI etc.).
Is there a flaw in this approach?
Do you have thoughts on this, or have done a similar setup?
Any help is appreciated.
