That's why we were interested in them. So far they have not been able to approve the release of an IBAN after eminently qualifying for one (passing
KYC + verifying phone number). When the time comes to send a further SMS to that already verified phone number to verify the IBAN, the web site indicates it can't send the SMS.
This happens for USA Google Voice, while an Asian mobile phone number can't even receive the original verification SMS. From facing similar problems I'm guessing integration issues have only been tested for European customers and their bulk SMS provider doesn't assure delivery outside the EU.
All these problems reported 17 days ago and I still hear from webchat n00bs every couple days asking
me if my problem's been fixed yet. For a service based on a provider of financial I.T. infrastructure (Spectro Finance) it is remarkable that they can't send SMS to a Google Voice number: i.e. to the largest 2FA provider in the world. And they can't arrange for an engineer to tell me why.
I was also astonished to see that liquidity for a common
crypto/fiat trading pair was only about €700 worth close to the market price, but beyond that price was only buying & selling at a 10% spread. They responded to tell me that this was because of "volatility" and when I debunked that by providing more detail & a screenshot of the buy/sell orders they also went dumb with that ticket (2 weeks ago).
If anyone is representing this company here please feel free to PM me. I was actually fond of their soft & simple web site and found their fees low and services well sized... plus would be very economical for card use in the EU. It's too bad they cannot provide customer service or diagnose I.T. issues at an integration or engineering level... I guess they're OK with the "low hanging fruit" of a strictly European customer base that never really trades or uses banking services.
