I'm not even sure if every freezone company is allowed to do business with every entity/business/individual inside of the country. It is possible there is some restriction - e.g. you can only do business abroad or with other companies in the same freezone or with freezone companies only.Any services you provide for UAE customers or sell products in UAE are subject to 5 percent VAT ( you have to keep accounting books and pay these taxes ). If you sell outside UAE or provide services to outside clients then no need.
Where are your customers?

VAT is probably the last problem here. You don't need to add a special "licence", creating the company itself creates the licence. However you must find out details in the terms of the freezone.
Customers are in Kuwait and KSAWhere are your customers?

Let's see, three useless answers and one useful.. @Admin what is going on lately??
When does the VAT liability kick in if you have a company in UAE (Dubai preferably)? Lets say I set up a company in Dubai and have licenses for selling e-services/online stuff/doing ecommerce or something like that. Is it possible to do this 0% tax free or do I need to pay something? No problem with freezone company as your customers ate not in the UAE. No VAT liability neither.
He would get in trouble if he is doing business with UAE residents. Hence the question!!! Aren't we here to look out for each other?

Is a Freelance-visa possible to do the same thing but cheaper?
I.e. I have no problems doing stuff in the grey area so to speak.
You will have trouble opening a bank account with a freelance permit tho
Thanks for your reply. Lets say I set up a hosting/internet-related company in UAE with customers outside UAE. They (aka myself x 10000 fake accounts) will all pay their invoices with crypto. Would this be a good method of cashing out cryptocurrency without paying a dime in tax? How can I bypass VAT? Would love to hear your input.VAT @ 5% is applicable on all sales made within and or to a UAE resident individual or company.
Everyone in the UAE is now used to paying it so its just your invoice plus 5%
Yes freelance will work also.

I will be honest and say I am not really 100% clear on how VAT is handled and what it is lol.
