So if I set up a UK Ltd as a non resident & non UK citizen without PE in UK, I don't pay corporate taxes in UK but instead in my country of residence, right?

No, what you can now use the UK LTD as a "Service Provider" within your structure. Getting round the use of PSP's as they are easier to get for a UK company. You will still need to have a tax efficient structure behind it but they have given you the template.
