What is Multi-Currency Account?

Offshore Banking Accounts provides multi-currency account management facilities. But the concept of multi currency account is not known to me. So pl. respond "What is Multi-Currency Account"?

A Multi-currency account is simply a bank account, having a single account number, in which you can hold balances in various different currencies. For example, when you log in through internet banking, you may see a summary screen showing your balances in different currencies.
