Which Dubai free zone is best for only immigration purpose ? (No bank account required )

If you don't need a company, how about registering as a "freelancer"? e.g. GoFreelance, offered by Dubai Internet City

On an all-in cost basis, this comes to AED15,800 in year 1, then AED9,520 in years 2 and 3, so an average cost of AED11,613 per year over 3 years.

Some freezones advertise packages at around AED15,000 per year, but watch out because those rates often don't include everything. Plus you probably need a consultant to help you set up the freezone company, whereas freelance is simpler and you can set it up yourself.

Is this still a viable option?

What happens if you go with a freezone company and opt for the upcoming audit starting in 2023 to avoid the 9% CT and there's absolutely no activity? Blank audit?

Does @Fred may have more information?

Yes - 0 Filling with the Authority.

However no details available yet and the 9% Corporate Tax Degree was due to late August now is already October.

Rumors going on the whole CT thing gets pushed back to 2024.

@Fred thank you. Do you have any experience opening a single family office free zone company in DMCC and/or DIFC? I've seen DMCC offers a SFO license. Abu Dhabi (ADGM) offers it as well.
Does that make any sense if you just need solid visa for immigration purposed on a long-term basis?
