Will relocation to a low tax country make you happy

To OP, please continue staying in your country (from the government and tax man with love )

To me, moving to a lower tax location is a big YES
Why do you think I stay in my country? I just don't choose a place to live based on taxes in the first place. There are other priorities. Everyone chooses himself what's most important for him.

No need to do your accounting every month is the biggest privilege
So, yes it makes me more happy.
I totally agree with you.

Personally to have found a country where you can reduce your personal taxes with at least 25% makes a big difference for me. So I'm happy.

Until June 2023, yes
Make yourself familiar with the matter to not loose in opportunity.

In 2022 when a Seychelles IBC has bi-annual Account reporting requirements, a Belize IBC 3% Corporate Tax - it's not a surprise that UAE had to come up with SOMETHING to keep hold of international pressure.

So look around the corner to figure out that things remain the same if your Company is structured in the right way.

Of course some people who got fooled with a Mainland Company for "easier" account opening have now to either pay 9% CT or re-structure with a Freezone Company but this was already years ago clear that if ever some CT is introduced it affects only Mainland Companies as Freezone Companies have guaranteed Tax Freedom for decades.

Minimizing taxes shouldn't be your PRIMARY objective in choosing a place of residency. I am also wildly guessing that in the future a person who changes residency with the primary objective being the reduction of taxes would fall foul of some future anti avoidance rule or could even now affect unfavorably the answer to the question of where is a taxpayer's place of vital interests in the event of a tax residency claim by your country of residency/citizenship.
All in all, what is important to understand is that in the world we currently live intended allocation of taxes paid by residents of a country is for the purpose of building and improving the country's infrastructure, maintaining proper governance, policing, defence public health etc.Of course a lot of the funds are misallocated and ending up in the hands of corrupted officials , however it does not appear sound to claim that there should be no taxes and that taxes are a total theft.

For me peace of mind is when tax men is not asking to show all bank statements, to pay tax for everything you get into your bank account etc

Just tell them you lost all of it in a tragic boating accident. That'll work, right? :)

Taxation IS theft.

It is taken using violence, and without permission.

This is no different than a common thug taking your wallet. Even if he/she says it is for charity it is still theft.

Everything should be private and have to compete in an open market. Schools, healthcare, security and defence should all be private.

Competition keeps prices low and quality high.

What is this forum really about? Think about it. It's about shopping around for different governments and banks that offer the best services at the best prices.

That usually doesn't work that way.
If you can't provide these - they can tax you as much as they want.
It's up to you to provide relevant data and the may or may not use it - upon their discretion.

Taxes are not theft!
They are used to fund a government and it's been like it for ages.
The only countries that didn't had taxes back then are poor countries - and most of them remained poor (unlike some other that found oil on their soil).

Well, having private everything doesn't mean that you'll get better service at competitive pricing.
Just take a look at the costs of healthcare in US. It's fully private, you have a lot of competition but it's still crazy expensive.
Handing a newborn to the mother after birth the hospital charges over $4k. LOL
The price of insulin is multiple times higher than in Canada - and in many "socialist healthcare" countries it's even free.
(The Astronomical Price of Insulin Hurts American Families)

So I don't believe that healthcare, education or army should be private.
For a private hospital getting you healthy - actually means loosing a paying client.
Private schools don't care much what you'll learn there and can't enforce you to do well because - you paid them.
And private army is bad on so many levels. We are now witnessing what a Russian paid army is doing in Ukraine.

In general if you do international business (trade cryptos, do online marketing etc.) and your turnovers are large it's worth to consider tax free residence.
You will have less hassle to worry about tax audits, tax declarations and will save money to expand business instead of worrying when time comes to pay tax.
Also depends where are you from, but you can choose warmer climate etc. Instead of spending money on tax'es you can spend them in restaurants, hotels, clubs.. So, yes, it's worth.

Sometimes it's not the tax is the problem. But the problem you cannot do successful international business in some countries, because of regulations, tax'es.
It's just they see high amounts and they want to tax as much as possible to extract everything. It's just peoples attitude that successful people should be punished somehow
Thats why so many business people move to UAE or even do expensive residency in Switzerland etc

It was an obvious joke. I know they will just reach into your bank account and take what they think you owe them anyway. :)

Who said governments are needed or their existence is morally just?

Just because a thug has been robbing you for ages means it is ok?

The only countries that didn't had taxes back then are poor countries - and most of them remained poor (unlike some other that found oil on their soil).

They are not poor because they pay little to no taxes. There are many factors. Low IQ (check out middle eastern inbreeding for example), disease, lack of natural resources, being ripped off by western nations, etc.

There are "zero tax" jurisdictions that are very developed, and offer a high standard of living.

Well, having private everything doesn't mean that you'll get better service at competitive pricing.

It is still far better than the alternative: a permanent welfare state, high taxes, government bloat and gross mismanagement.

If my local security detail sucks I can fire them and hire better guards. It's the real free market system in action.

Just take a look at the costs of healthcare in US. It's fully private, you have a lot of competition but it's still crazy expensive.

Who said you have to get healthcare in the US? If people didn't have to pay the IRS anything they would be able to afford better healthcare, no?

Aren't you a hip global "citizen" like the rest of us here? Fly to where you get the best treatment at the best price.

FYI, prior to the first world war there were no passports either. You could just get on a ship and relocate. They've taken a lot from us.

Private schools don't care much what you'll learn there and can't enforce you to do well because - you paid them.

You can't force people to learn. Period.

Public schools have been dumbed down to make the courses passable for low IQ degenerates.

They feed the kids slop, and hand out participation awards.

And private army is bad on so many levels. We are now witnessing what a Russian paid army is doing in Ukraine.

An invader only has to take over the machinery of a foreign government to take over the entire country.

A well armed populus is a lot harder to conquer.

In essense I do not disagree with what you are saying , however what you are proposing is a different type of governance of nations. One governed by free markets and only. This is a revolutionary approach, and more bitcoin-like , where there is the absence of centralized power. Indulging into such a proposition would have humanity transcend a great part of our history as human beings, so I if I could see this happening it wouldn't be overnight and not in the utopian level you describe it as I still cannot see with my small mind how you can throw the captain off the boat.

Crypto-anarchy begets anarchy. :)

Yes, I have come to accept that it won't happen in my lifetime.

However, you need to "be the change you want to see in the world". People who just lie down and do nothing about this are not my people.

I think if enough people resist the governments of the world they would be forced to shrink in size or fall over entirely.

how you can throw the captain off the boat.

Haha! I like how you wrote that. :)

true but if there were a REAL audit (never going to happen) of inflow/outflow of taxes and money it would be clear where money vanishes and imo this will be the biggest percentage. and we will conclude we have been overpaying for decades.... AND its only getting worse condsidering the mass debts. Governments change policies continuesly, you cannot rely on the long term tax structure...

You made my day! It's funny how Matrix is attacking is with words like his, how they make us , for example, in case of war, fight "for our country and our women" ...our women who for example in Ukraine, quickly left away and i saw them dacing their pussy on the tables in Romanian and polish bars, while their men were massacred in Ukraine! !!!! They were telling words like "wtf is wrong with you, we can't have fun because of of war" while tens of thousands of their men were remaining without eyes, limbs, or even got murdered for fun. (like burned alive, beaten, rapped with a gun, bullet in the a*s for a slow and painful death , etc)
I never saw a fucxxxx ukranian women wearing at less a f*****g black t-shirt, because her own men are fxxx getting murdered there.
