WTF is now wrong, all cryptos down?

I would like it very much if some of the gurus in crypto around here would show their knowledge and post here the same time when they predict the marked has reached it's climax and it is time to sell ;)

I locked most of my holding at ~90k, sold half of the remaining unlocked BTC at ~98k.
Im done with this cycle (and crypto in general, for the most part)

idk yet, all timeframes are still uptrending.

What I know is that its 'my' cycle top
That sounds like a solid strategy, set a cap and stick to it. When people try to get too greedy, that’s often when things go wrong.

On the other hand, if you’re buying something like Bitcoin as an asset rather than an investment, it’s a different story. In that case, you’re not tracking the price in the same way.

Happened to me in '17 but learnt from it so it didnt happen in '21 and wont let it happen this time neither.

Word but not my case; Ive been doing crypto trading only since '17 and Im honestly tired like I need a few quarterly vacations lol

From now on how shall we call you? ... TheStockAnt, TheGoldAnt, TheFiatAnt, TheImDoneAnt?

hahaha
TheImDoneAnt sounds fitting :p

do you realize that the cycle thingy is gonna end one day?
I'm not pretending I'm sure it will be this time but there are too many auspicious signals and new potential sources of "endless" demand that it's worth very solid analysis - the potential damage of not holding any BTC and the market moving forward can easily eat all he profits form the past

this is actually a crucial question... what will you hold?

Ive thought about this too brother but Im worth a bit over 8M freedom dollars as we speak so in truth I dont give a flying flamingo if this thing goes to 250k from here

or infinity for that matter lmao

mostly US ETFs but theres other countries in the list too + some real estate (to be defined where tho).
If I dont change my mind ~6M will go to shares and 2M to RE.

I'll own BTC through IBIT but will still keep some BTC in a HW for the maybes.

First thing I'm gonna do is take a few months long vacation and execute when I come back.

I cannot be that specific but let say I very well know what shoes you're in and understand the "pressure"

this sounds to me like you think about your success rather as a fluke then anything deeper - I strongly disagree but can respect that

if you plan to hold IBIT then it's a different story (despite an irrational downgrade of BTC exposure in my opinion)

the rest of your plan makes no sense to me but you might be smarter after all...

First thing I'm gonna do is take a few months long vacation and execute when I come back.
nice plan, good luck

True happiness isn't found in what you lack, but in appreciating the abundance already within your reach. If you are happy with 8m, that's all you need.

Most people will disagree with this plan on here but I completely understand your situation.
Most of us who have been invested in crypto for over a decade look for a "safe place" or a more chill investment approach after "cashing out".
I've had most of my net-worth tied to crypto since I can remember, even if I think btc will ultimately outperform most investments, I still need that diversification peace-of-mind.
RE and ETFs sound good brother. Make sure you buy some of your BTC back in 1 year time though :D

Self-custody is king.

Have fun, you deserve it.

not at all. I went from ~10k to the amount im sitting atm from trading futures mostly. Ive lost eyesight, braincells, sleep... Ive earned my bag and not but being lucky.

the rest of your plan makes no sense to me but you might be smarter after all...

Im far from dumb but not particularly smart in many areas... I could go back to being a brokie in 5 years time lol

In truth I couldve stopped at 5 but FTX happened and I lost a chunk of my portfolio.
ik ik 'self custody' but you cannot withdraw futures positions do you lol

You should. Because that would imply the usd going to zero, which is a certainty.

Investing on the stock market is a requirement for mitigating debasement of fiat. So it’s a risky redundancy, or a straight nonsense, to sell btc for fiat and use fiat that way.
and 2M to RE.
That’s good, if you know what you are doing and can mitigate ownership costs.

Yes! That’s a good way to spend crypto.

It's really not so easy to "exit", what strategy you prefer? Just send you crypto to some exchange, sell it and send fiat to bank/emi?

If your SOF is clear its very easy to exit or example Binance's OTC will sort it out for you np.

In my case I locked my BTC on the inverse perp at 1x creating 'synthetic cash' so now I could exit the pos and sell the coins or directly sell the contracts to someone else (through OTC, Binance can transfer positions between accounts)

i knew this comment will come from you lol ange¤%&

In truth Ive got no idea what Im doing hence why I want to sit on it for a few months until I figure everything out. What I know for sure is that I aint owning anything in my name Ive seen too many guys get destroyed (usually by pussy) and I wont be one of them.

The learning curve is veeeeeery long in real estate. Have a look at dividends paying ETFs such as gnl, price is interesting now as well as yield. Also look at my portfolio (to be updated on Jan 1). Professionals know best and cost less than diy. In the meantime search for some triple N leasing opportunities.
What to do with the dividends? Buy btc ofc smi(&% After you have paid for your living expenses.
hence why I want to sit on it for a few months until I figure everything out.
Remember you are losing at least 8% per year due to debasement this way, plus the huge risk of freezing, counterparty etc/
What I know for sure is that I aint owning anything in my name Ive seen too many guys get destroyed (usually by pussy) and I wont be one of them.
Ok,I hope you have good, close and liquid friends as nominees, not some random bitch.

I also sincerely hope you don’t end up like those poor guys who win the lottery. Ref the “sudden wealth syndrome” and the case of Jack Whittaker

I suggest you retain the best life coach you can find and afford. It’s a small investment that will pay off big times.

Even if you have 80 million dollars in the bank, that’s not how you think! When you’re skilled enough to achieve financial freedom, you also know how to hold onto your money, and it’s certainly not by handling it carelessly.
