Could you please provide a proof of your website domain ownership and payment confirmation for the domain provider?
Our domain belongs to some old company which may not even exists now. What are we supposed to do? Cook up invoices and screenshots? Will they really suspend our account because of this nonsense? They are have already suspended our account
We’ve paused transfers from your account
because they don't understand wtf is stripe and keep asking for "pdf file of your last three months Stripe account". I already sent them the balance, the payments screenshots, the corresponding invoices but they still not happy and keep parroting about "last three months Stripe account". And now they want domain ownership proof.
What should we do to get this assholes off our back?

Transfer the domain to the new company - what can be so difficult about that? Not only Revolut requires such proofs for domain ownership, also other EMIs.

And if they are assholes then why are you staying there?

It's very easy, just go into your domain registrar and change the name to whatever you want, then make a print of the screen and done. After all is approved etc. just change it back or make it hidden to the public.

It's new crap that the EMI's started to use to do proper KYC in their believing, personally it is just something that is not worth anything.

We have funds there and now the account is frozen. And it's not like there are a lot of good online banks around that won't disappear with your money.
The issue is they want the proof of purchase in the past.
But is this crap even legal?? How can they block our money based on the fact that domain is not ours.

Yes it is legal. Its part of ongoing Enhanced Due Diligence. Be aware that it will only become worse from when Basel III is implemented. Provide the required information is the only way to go. Unless you want to go without access and funds for a looooong time.
