i've looked around and the ones that have been recommended are mostly scammers (based on further inspection - reviews, etc)

Well, it depends on what business you are into and what it is you require from your new provider. There are people around here that can setup everything for you, such solutions comes with a high setup cost!

If you have time and you know what you are doing then you can set it all up very easy with very low costs. Alternative be much more specific when you open threads and you will get some good replies, I'm sure.
