That's why I don't like such "regimes".
Government change it overnight.
The same with Portugal HNWI program.
Even Swiss lump sum changed
 
You can’t trust any government. Use the law while it’s convenient to you, and when something changes switch to another law/country and take advantage of it. Nothing is permanent in this world.
Not easy to switch if you invest in the country.
Build you life. You cannot always stay on the go.
It's better to choose whom you can trust...
 
Doesn't change anything. It's not that this had any legal certainty to begin with... you couldn't even get an advanced ruling ensuring your status, so they can basically do whatever they want once you're on the hook.

Go to countries where the rule of law is respected.

Unfortunately, not so many to choose from...
Some islands in Caribbean, Monaco

All other options are temporary programs or lump sums or so called territorial tax countries
