I have a high risk ecommerce business selling cd and game keys. I have been using proxy checkouts (checkout redirects to another website selling physical, low risk products) but they usually only last a week or two before the merchant account gets banned. I also haven't found a payment processor that I trust that will accept high risk businesses.

I was thinking of using an invoicing software that can also bill for payments where I would manually take my customers details and send them invoices for payment. I would open a marketing company and say the invoices are for marketing services.

When using the invoicing method, the processor will not see my websites at all. I find there is a lot less verification and monitoring vs using PayPal or Stripe.

Has anyone else tried using this method or can offer any advice?

If you have decent volumes it will not work. It’s better to find a processor that accepts your business directly.
