Panama Papers #panamapapers Yesterday international tv channels in Europe reported about the biggest leak of documents from the leader in Panama offshore company formation http://www.mossfon.com/ - It's incredible what they actually found out and who are involved including Putting, Football Player Messi and lot's of other celebs,

A massive leak of documents exposes the offshore holdings of 12 current and former world leaders and reveals how associates of Russian President Vladimir Putin secretly shuffled as much as $2 billion through banks and shadow companies. The leak also provides details of the hidden financial dealings of 128 more politicians and public officials around the world. The cache of 11.5 million records shows how a global industry of law firms and big banks sells financial secrecy to politicians, fraudsters and drug traffickers as well as billionaires, celebrities and sports stars. These are among the findings of a yearlong investigation by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung and more than 100 other news organizations. The files expose offshore companies controlled by the prime ministers of Iceland and Pakistan, the king of Saudi Arabia and the children of the president of Azerbaijan. They also include at least 33 people and companies blacklisted by the U.S. government because of evidence that theyd been involved in wrongdoing, such as doing business with Mexican drug lords, terrorist organizations like Hezbollah or rogue nations like North Korea and Iran. One of those companies supplied fuel for the aircraft that the Syrian government used to bomb and kill thousands of its own citizens, U.S. authorities have charged. These findings show how deeply ingrained harmful practices and criminality are in the offshore world, said Gabriel Zucman, an economist at the University of California, Berkeley and author of The Hidden Wealth of Nations: The Scourge of Tax Havens. Zucman, who was briefed on the media partners investigation, said the release of the leaked documents should prompt governments to seek concrete sanctions against jurisdictions and institutions that peddle offshore secrecy.

source: https://panamapapers.icij.org/201604...-overview.htmlLeak Ties Ethics Guru to Three Men Charged in FIFA Scandalhttps://panamapapers.icij.org/201604...a-scandal.htmlThis is a massive research and investigation done by leading Journalist from more then 50 EU countries ( https://www.icij.org/about#_ga=1.442...320.1459756465 ) who received more than 1 million documents confirming thousands of Panama company formations used by some of the most famous people in the world including the FIFA, Putting, Messi and various other people and leaders of our Global World.Evene Icelands Prime Minister Ducks that was asked if he informed the tax office in Iceland about his offshore company in the British Virgin Islands wasn't able to stay in the interview longer than a few minutes where he interrupted the interview. In reality this is no different than what all other peoples are doing in different other offshore jurisdictions, however, this is crazy since it will stop many of the offshore jurisdictions around to continue International businesses to incorporate in their country / island.Anyway, where the millions are floating there is also a way to new opportunities to hide! Foundations and Trust in various offshore jurisdictions seems to be the new answer (at least for all new to this) to get around it./monthly_2016_04/mossack.jpg.18a480bd69413c6799b457d3893e3e9c.jpg

Your welcome Admin, a closer look at their website also let me understand how this leak could happen, they have a online system to register and maintain offshore corps formed by the Mossack Fonseca and with the many hacker groups in this world it's not a problem to get thes information out from there... such DB should have been kept offline and confident!

Well to open and hold an offshore account is not illegal and investments in offshore jurisdictions are also not illegal so people are doing so much bulls**t why does this comes to any surprise. We may hope the gang of journalists involved gets what they wanted and close this case again.

We speak about the world's political and economic elite stashing away wealth while imposing cuts for everyone else. This is the same true story as usual the rich get richer.

Having an offshore account isn't automatically tax evasion, only certain activities related to offshore accounts is tax evasion. The earnings of a foreign trust or company is not taxable in the country where the beneficiary or owner is located. The only taxable money for that person would be the amount that he or she takes as a salary/trust fund payments. But if the person decides to use the offshore accounts to make purchases on items without reporting it as income then it would be tax evasion.

Most developed countries (including US and the EU) have laws that make it very difficult to use money earned illegitimately (eg. from corruption, drugs, illegal arms sales, extortion, racketeering). They do this by regulating the banks very closely and imposing heavy fines if they allow illegal proceeds to enter the banking system. Corrupt leaders need to launder the money obtained from corruption to be able to get the money into the interntional banking system and then spend it in the rest of the world.

Seems to have been too easy for the hackers to access the database from this so called "secure online database" lol - If it is on the Internet it's not secure at least not if you are not a Internet Security Specialist but only a stupid law firm putting their client database on the Internet.. OMG OUGHT

I just found the above link with a statement from Mossack to the Miami Herald, it's incredible to read their statement if you ask me. On the other hand it's fair and journalists all over should look at the Global impact of offshore companies and how they also have some positive to contribute.

What a shame they figured it all out... why did they not kept the database more secure!! :cul:
are you serious :D this is something that would have come sooner or later the only shame here is that they didn't protected their database and data better than what they did.
