I would like to share my experience with my trip to Paraguay. The reason of trip was to become a tax resident in that country. I am sport trader, using exchange bookmakers. I am EU citizen. It is not so easy to declare all bets/trade doing arbitrage. That is why I decide to choose Paraguay.
All process done with the assistance of @NewHorizonsParaguay This guy is amazing together with his friend with whom he cooperate made great job. All you need to do is to come to Paraguay once for maksimum 3 days, have with you appostilled birth certificate and criminal record and guys do the rest. Please avoid do that alone or with somebody whom you don't know. @NewHorizonsParaguay have connections in Asunción. Whole procces is easy and safe. I was a witness at Immigration office in Asunción where people doing process alone have a lot of problems, so officers working there ask @NewHorizonsParaguay to help to solve it. @NewHorizonsParaguay knows what to do so you are really in good hands. The process take approximatelly 3-4 months and I will get RUC(tax number) and Cedula(Paraguayan identity card). After that I can run sport betting and declare income via Paraguayan tax office (@NewHorizonsParaguay offer cheap local accountant to do that) and pay 0% income tax.
Next year I can apply for a tax residency document which can be provided to tax authorities in my country of living. I think Paragauay is best option for somebody work remotely - crypto traders, forex traders any kind of e-service - you don't have to live there and you can live where you want which give many opportunities. That is perfect solution for digital nomads, much better than UAE, where you have to stay 183 days to become tax resident.
Now I have my Residencia Precaria, so waiting for my temporary residence.
