UAE residence visa cheapest option

If you get 10K eur monthly 60% are for the govt, so f**k “free” healthcare, a good insurance costs you 1k/month and 9K are for living.

Lets not exaggerate. I don't know a european country where 120.000 EUR yearly income is taxed at a flat 60% rate. I don't think this country exist. Even in France.

In Dubai your "hidden" tax would be yearly:
4.500 EUR for residency per year
2.000 EUR health insurance ( I guess you can find a cheaper one )
(And of course more expensive grocerys, entertainment cost are higher, apartment rent are higher if u you dont wanna live a trashy place)

Then you have all the starting cost of starting a new life;
Flight tickets
Security deposit
Agent fee
Freezone incorporation

Most likely grocery shopping, eating out and enjoying yourself is much more expensive than your home country.

Obviously people are different. But to "only" make 10.000 EUR in profit a month, I wouldn't sacrifice family, friends etc to live
in Dubai/UAE. Effectively I dont even think your tax savings is that much because you suddenly have much higher expenses, relocating costs, your yearly freezone company fee, flight tickets and hotel costs to go and visit your family for Christmas or important birthdays etc.

Dear, with 10k in a lot of European country you get a direct tax above 45% and of course you gotta add a lot of other direct and indirect taxes, in Italy it even includes the tax to finance the globalist/socialist/woke governmental TV channel (RAI), and you are OBLIGATED to pay it because it is in your electricity bill, so yes, at the end of the game you can easily reach ~60% on taxes.
Of course I agree with you that 10k can be a very threshold in case you are not interested to live in your country anymore, but this is not a numeric analysis per se.

my question was basically if freelance visa to be considered tax resident is enough without living all year in UAE but i realize now the other flight hotel expenses for twice a year is not a good option, the cost would be around 12K for visa and paperwork I guess

I'm considering remote worker visa, it seems to be really cheap ~$300USD Remote work visas - The Official Portal of the UAE Government It's valid for one year so I'm wondering what would be the costs to keep it active. Would I only have to visit once every 180 days or do I need to pay rent and utilities for a whole year? My home country isn't even part of CRS yet and I plan to use tax transparent structure like UK LLP or US LLC with EMI like Wise or Bankera. To me this seems like a really cheap option, would it work though? My gross income would be ~$10,000USD/month :(

Edit: I might not even need EMI because I could open a bank account with Emirates ID? EMIs can be pain in the neck with proof of address and random freezes so having a real bank account is probably better.

I mean I wouldnt give up free Healthcare, cheap rent and family for less than 20k eur/usd/pounds Per month.
Where do I find the cheap rent in Europe?
London, Frankfurt, Zurich, Paris and even Barcelona are at Dubai Marina level or above.
e.g. Full Cost of Living comparison Frankfurt am Main vs Dubai.
Remote places are of course very cheap in Europe, but I will have to learn the local language to just even have a chance to being somewhat integrated and be able to have a social life.

If I like alcohol and maybe also "nightlife" ;) much, it will surely cost a bunch more in Dubai.

Better to Stay in a month or Two and than decide , If It is worth moving or not .
Cost , Lifestyle and Living Expenses are very subjective. Someone can live on $2500 a month and For someone Even $250k a month is not enough in Dubai.
Dubai is strange city. Do experience yourself. Do not make Decision by reading online material on Dubai. It may misguide you.

If you are earning "Serious" money, consider Dubai, Otherwise you are wasting your time. End of the Day , Dubai is monarchy . Do keep in mind Mental Peace is most expensive thing in the world.
Do consider before moving is it worth headache or not ?

what are these fees, monthly or one time or annual?

can you elaborate, what is this?

also, can you list the basic what that would include?
These are yearly costs, if you want to do it right in the UAE and get a tax certificate.

8K incorporation 1 time fee.
4K company renewal yearly after first year
4K Substance, is what you need to show for the structure to truly work if you do not reside in the UAE at a personal level.
Utility bills, residential address with Government registered tenancy agreement.
ESR is a Economic Substance Report is basically a tick box exercise by the government. It's ensuring you meet all the necessary requirements for CRS.
This includes UBO, AML compliance where you need to register if you are in certain industries like business services, real estate and finance.

I am assuming creating company costs? this does not include visa and residency? so to sum up a company is better than freelance option?

Ajman would be difficult to get a bank account better Dubai.

1st Year
8K company incorporation including residency and ID card.
4K substance
2K for 2 trips for 4 days bed and breakfast in a decent hotel every 180 days.

2nd Year
4K company renewal
4K substance renewal
2K for 2 trips every 180 days

Yes you can do all remotely except bank account, as you have to be there to open in person. You can open remotely in another country like Switzerland, Montenegro, Lichtenstein, Mauritius, Seychelles or Singapore. There are some minimum requirements with regards to account balance and the industry.

It's best to use an agent when incorporating, getting ID and bank account opening.

I would be happy to help, contactdetails below

8K according to my research it takes at least 17K in Dubai to incorporate in FZ , I am looking for full ownership no sponsorship , seems ded.ae only for joint companies with local? maybe freelancer visa is the best option.
