I'm not a financial advisor, I just manage my own portfolio and that's it. Nothing remarkable about that. I have been buying and selling stocks since many years, in larger scale after selling my companies. I'm just small fish.
One general tip I can give: test accounts for dry trading are pretty useless, you got to feel the nerve. Better start small with real cash, evaluate your trading model and see if you have it in you. good luck.
If I would notice that I've lost my mojo I'd probably shove the residues into S&P as well. But in my case it's not yet the case
