We are happy to announce extending our team with two new moderators ready to ensure everyone adheres to the general rules and guidelines.
We would like to welcome @Martin Everson and @Sols to our OffShoreCorpTalk team. The extension has come as a direct consequence of the consistent growth of the forum over the past year. They will join our team of moderators to keep an eye on the content on our forum, but also to help users with potential issues.
Both Martin Everson and Sol have been around the OffShoreCorpTalk forum for a while. They have proven their knowledge in offshore matters, as well as technical abilities in keeping the forum safe and going. Therefore, we believe they are right to complete our already efficient – but slightly overwhelmed – team.
Our new moderators are still in training while becoming familiar with all the management rules of the forum. While small issues may still arise – such as deleting a post by mistake, the administration team will be able to revert changes should anyone decide to raise a dispute. Based on the community we have and our experience, such issues are less likely to arise though.
As you might be aware of it already, we are currently working on updating the OffShoreCorpTalk forum policies in order to ensure we adhere to international regulations. Moral and ethical issues will not be taken into consideration throughout our new policy – but things that can be directly affected by legal standards only.
While some guidelines might change, our attitude towards free speech will follow the same standards. Our users are more than welcome to discuss tax optimization techniques, company structures, techniques to run legal businesses and financial instruments to bypass potential legal restrictions.
We do not support illicit or illegal activities, but actions and ideas that enable people to maintain their privacy and freedom in legal manners.
