A Belize bank Account

I just recently joined. I'm a Canadian. I want to open an offshore Belize bank account . I have
a friend who said they could do it for me.
This is what they said
First I need a fake Passport. This is true or not?
Anyone know.
I've read tons of threads on this forum and there seems to be
a yes and no to this questions.
I want to be able to park some money in my account and be able to wire it to a Wells Fargo bank and
to be able to use the ATM card and use it in Costa Rica to access my money.
Any answer will help

Not sure why would you need a fake passport for your Belize bank account. It's definitely not true.

Hi. Run from a proposal like that. Real dox are needed to open a bank account in BZ.

NO big NO you don't need a fake passport to open a bank account with any bank in Belize!

If you do so, you will properly get troubles or get your account opening declined. They can check the passport in the banks if they are real or not.

What was your requirement when you approached your "friend" for the account opening in Belize?
