Yesterday, some Interactive Brokers clients noticed some changes on their official website: from Interactive Brokers website It looks too good to be true. But it really is. Beginning 1st July 2021, Interactive Brokers have eliminated the monthly Inactivity

It's a very good thing if they indeed waive the monthly fee. However, I believe for some one trading on a daily basis the $10 fee is invisible anyway.

or may be some new Spanish administer learning 'how to update website by "searching on google"' .

I received an email from them stating that the fee is going away and I am in the US

It looks like they have also added fees for using "Enhanced Network Connections" (Trader Workstation, TWS API, REST API) of USD 10.00 per month minimum commission
(USD 3.00 for age 25 and under). Which looks like the same inactivity fee as it used to be.

So if you only use the web/mobile trading, this looks like a very good deal.

API fee was already there before. Nothing new about it.
