If you have a small budget a BVI company is the jurisdiction to go, a Cyprus company costs more and you will have more costs also each year to maintain the company!

I was in touch with them some years ago. I can second the above they are helpful and they get your account opened quickly.

They require a valid passport copy and utility bill or bank statement. Depending on which country you are form they will even require a bankers reference letter. No min. deposits are required.

They are a valid bank, problem is just they are strict and they have very high fees. The Internet banking is difficult to use. Their application process is a joke.

Bank of Cyprus, Piraeus Bank Cyprus and Standard bank Mauritius are the banks I would trust on long term and considered offshore.
