What investment is making you 10%+ yearly?

Stock shares no but bonds yes. Wouldn't like to disclose exact investments but here are few examples of hot ones: bonds of Telecom Armenia, bonds of Electric networks of Armenia (both traded on Armenian stock exchange), Armeconombank (11% APY), Inecobank (10% APY).

If I understood correctly, almost all banks sell their bonds too and yield is pretty high. Recently even government did sale of bonds which were very quickly sold out.

Process of purchase is bulky, requires personal visit especially when buying on initial allocation (which is much better in terms of resulting yield). I guess this is the reason why the yield is so high because the bond market is only starting to gain traction in Armenia.

Bank bonds are especially cool because they seem to be covered by deposit insurance AND offer pretty high yield at the same time.
Hello, avalanche, this is interesting. How can someone invest into Armenian bonds? Via an Armenian bank or broker?

You need to open a bank account in Armenia and then apply for a brokerage account. You can then invest into any corporate / government bonds and shares listed on AMX.

You can go to Armenia and then visit any ACBA bank (or any other bank that is open to foreigners) and open an account. You need to ask for a brokerage account.

I like ACBA but I found Ameriabank app user interface to be way more developed for brokerage things. ACBA sometimes glitches when it comes to data display

I dont think you need brokerage account for purchasing pre allocation directly from the bank. You just need normal bank account.

If you buy bonds off the market you usually get worse yields because there are plenty of people who are competing for the same bond on AMX. They pump the price

I heard liquidity on the AMX is poor and spreads can be rough.

There are great robots for forex.

You can see one of them has 7 years of track record there:

But last year it had a DD that is nowhere happened near in the 7 years as it become popular.

I am using a similar EA with a similar return and lower DD with 2.5 years of track record, but will not tell everyone. Because if everyone uses it, system will be ruined.

I only use manual trading. I never liked EAs. You can make 1500 to 2000 a day easily simply on gold and us30 with a 100k prop firm account.

can you explain for a noob how you do that and where you trade it? I have 100K to put into it.
You need to learn price action first. Don't invest until you learn first. Or you will loose your entire equity. When it's a highly trending market don't enter if you are not in it already. You need indicator knowledge too. This learning process requires knowledge and years of experience. Keep trying your strategies on demo accounts and make them profitable first. Market is in 70 percent ranging mode. Some traders are able to trade in it with deadly accuracy. While others wait for strong swings.

I never used them. I simply don't trust them at all,. EAs always blew up my demo accounts

Do you use prop firm or your own money?
"prop firms" are a scam. Why would you let random people gamble with your money? Real traders work for institutions or with their own money. Forex is the hardest asset to trade by the way (just nice for it's opening hours and the leverage) - always changing between random sideways fuckery and trends with tons of fakeouts. You really need to know what you're doing. EAs work until they don't.

Real prop firms are not a scam. There's not that many of them (places like SMB) and usually hard to get into.

"Prop firms" in quotes are something between a Ponzi and a casino. Not really a scam because they are not banned and it's possible to get money out of them, however the people actually getting payouts is <1% of all traders and often it's the affiliates that promote them.

Another good point mentioned above is that an average retail trader has absolutely zero edge in scalping random forex trades. You can be profitable by swing trading stocks, finding edge in crypto. Some people can trade futures and if you like it more spicy, then stock options.

Forex is incredibly difficult, often random, all odds are stacked against you and that includes brokers and/or prop firms that will trade against you, add slippage and spreads or just completely fake the trades. Imho if a trader is long-term profitable trading forex at a "prop firm", it means he's in the 0.1 % and he'd be even more profitable if he switched to swing trading stocks with his own capital.

Do you have any suggestions for a company that offers decent payouts to traders in forex or securities? Something a beginner could get started with?

Some of the most well-known are Apex for futures, FTMO for forex/CFD and TradeThePool for stocks.

However, in the end, they all are kinda a ripoff and most likely you won't get any payouts. They are fine to use as a demo account though.
